Launched in 2009 by an unidentified person or group known as Satoshi Nakamoto , bitcoin started it’s journey through internet.Bitcoins are encrypted sets of digital currency.You can call it as an open source currency.It is also known by its abbreviation BTC.It is powered by a peer-to-peer network similar to torrent file sharing networks.It cannot be manipulated by governments and political parties.It cannot be inflated or deflated manually.No central bodies issues bit coins too…All transactions are directly between the two parties involved with no financial institutions in between.No wonder that bitcoin enthusiasts are growing tribe.They seek  to free currency from the hands of government or financial institutions.?Governments do not always manage money wisely.right?

Another reason bitcoin are famous is that payments are that the bitcoin payments are irreversible. There  were some 11 million bitcoins in existence,with 25 being added every eight minutes.Around the year 2140,there will be around 21 million.That is the max currently permitted by the system.

HOW and WHY BITCOINS?

Bitcoins can be broken into small units of upto eight decimal points and re-transferred like e-mail.Life made easy.Don’t you think so?They are used to pay for goods and services on websites that accept them. There are portals which provides bitcoin payment gateways which can be integrated in your website for free.Coingate is one such payment gateway which I came across recently and it will be useful for developers.There you can accept payment in bitcoins and you will receive it in rupees.

There are trading platforms for bitcoins like buysellbitco.in,rbitco.in and few more.The thing is that not much people are aware of bitcoins and always early adopters are highly benefited.It sounds like an opportunity that no Indian e-commerce portals accept bitcoins.People use it for oversees business.Many online stores offer discounts on bitcoin payments to increase their  coin holding for future. Demand for bitcoins,the virtual currency maintained by peer to peer networks  in India is largely from speculators.

Facts About Hacking Facebook

How does the environment works.

When it comes to a social network, There are three components in the process. The sender, The system and the receiver. The system here is Facebook, Which means a well programmed system with highly secure servers and security experts. What about the other two? The sender and the receiver. Both are humans. Again well programmed. But careless and sometimes they ignore things out of their laziness.

Now use your common sense. It’s you h=who have to give me an answer. What do you want to hack? The facebook, or the user? LOL.. :P . That’s the point. You have to hack the user. Not the system. It’s hardly possible to hack facebook. Ofcourse people do hack it sometimes. But rarely. It is not everyone’s cup of tea. And more than that the system which your targeted victim use will not be that secure when compared to facebook servers. Security has almost reached 256 bit encryption keys which is almost impossible to crack. Or you might require a super computer to make it easier.

What does it actually mean.

Whenever you google about hacking people, You might have came across the word ‘Social Engineering’. Now let’s see what does it actually mean. It’s a simple concept of making people believe that you are genuine, but you are not.Got it? Naahh ?? Ok.few examples for those who didn’t get what I am telling..

Scenario One.

What if you call someone in office and tell him “Sir,I am from Technical dept. There is a few problems with the network and may I know your credentials, please” and he replied “ Of course my user is ‘abc’ and password is ‘xyz’ ”? #Hacked

Scenario Two.

You know little bit of programming and you are able to bring your friends to a fake page which looks exactly like a genuine page. You collect the credentials and redirect him to genuine page.. #hacked

1.STOP GOOGLING ABOUT HOW TO HACK FACEBOOK.Believe me buddies.If you are googling it, It’s not your cup of tea. If it is like you can google it.Open the first video or article which appears on the search engine, follow the steps and after few steps the facebook servers got crashed or you are getting all the login details.NOO..That’s not going to happen. If it is so why the poor guy Mark Zuckerberg has appointed that many security experts to protect the servers and data? Come on guys. Be practical and Use your common sense.

2.The most important thing is be careful and stay safe. Don’t be an easy victim of social engineering. Don’t open unknown links or unfamiliar messages. Always keep an eye on your address bar and see what the hell is going on in your browser. Logout when you are away. And beware of keyloggers.

Fog computing: A brief note

You might have hearing the term fog computing.But confused on what it really is.It is actually a computing concept forwarded by Cisco.It can be considered as an advancement or development to cloud computing environment.

‘Internet of things’ is providing each and every object an IP address.This idea will lead to great confusions.According to analysts by the end of 2020 about 50-75 billion devices will be connected.This will make the data warehouses full.And it is said that the future computing is on cloud.This demands processing and storing of huge data in cloud storages which requires high bandwidth.Otherwise it affects the quality and time of processing.To prevent this,Cisco introduced a concept called fog.

Basically Fog is a computing model designed for internet of things.The difference between the two models is same as the difference between the real cloud and fog.Cloud is far away from the people.But fog is near to people.While Cloud stores data somewhere in it’s server where in which data have to travel long distance,fog stores the data near the user.ie in routers,set top boxes or access points.Thi s reduces the requirement of high bandwidth.

Here data is processed locally.This make it possible for small computing tasks to be done without fetching data from the server.Instead of batch processing,fog make use of real time interactions.

Iox architecture

It is an application enablement framework presented by Cisco to give life to fog computing model.This is a joint infrastructure combining elements of open source software linux and Cisco’s operating system ios(internetworking operating system).

Applications:

According to cisco the following are the main applications of fog computing.

a.Connected cars

by 2017,most of the cars on the streets will be connected.Cisco tells that the real time interaction of fog help car’s access points and traffic lights get connected

b.Smart grids

Intelligent electrical grids can make use of fog model.Here the energy sources are being shifted considering the availability and requirement of energy load balancing in smart energy distribution’s network edge demands such a model.

c.Smart traffic lights

This enables an ambulance to pass through traffic smoothly by sensing the flashing lights of ambulance.

d.Self maintaining trains

Here the senser to monitor the ball bearings of train will give you the environmental conditions and can give alert to control room if it find anything wrong.

There are many more applications to fog computing.We can say that upto a limit fog can change the future of computi ng.especially internet of things.

how to make your computer smart by using utilities of both windows and ubuntu??

Windows is ofcourse a user friendly and largely used Operating system.But now computer users are moving to ubuntu in bulk due to a variety of reasons.User's may be of different needs.Some may stick into ubuntu to enjoy the high speed and secure computing features of GNU/LINUX.But if you are a great fan of GTA Vice City,You will have to depend on windows.But if you want to play Gta Vice city and you want to enjoy the ubuntu environment,Here is a couple of ways.

MultiBooting

The process of installing more than two operating systems in a single computer is termed as multibooting.It is also called as DualBooting.It is better to install windows first and then ubuntu.While installing ubuntu after installing windows,you can go for the option Install Ubuntu along Other Operating systems.Now after installing both operating systems,when you reboot your computer you will asked to select any operating system to work with.

If you think installing two Operating systems is not that smart idea,There is some smarter ideas to run Ubuntu softwares in windows and vice versa.

Windows softwares in Ubundu

We are installing EXE files in Windows which won't work in Ubuntu.But there is always a smarter way for smarter people like you.You can go for WINE.Wine is a Windows Emulator program.Even microsoft office can be run by Wine.It is not developed by microsoft.It is a open source free software.Recently I installed the game Hitman Blood Money in my ubuntu system with the help of wine loader.The first and foremost thing you have to do is ofcourse downloading and installing wine in your ubuntu system.You can use synaptic manager or ubuntu software center and search for wine and install it with a single click.Now your exe files will be opened directly on wine on double click or you can go for right click and open with option and select wine.

It is a method of creating a virtual machine inside an Os and install another Os in that virtual machine and load one OS from another in a small window.There is options to make it full screen and many more options.First you have to install virtualisation softwares like VMware,KVM in one OS.Now open the virtualisation software and select the option 'create new virtualisation machine' and use installation CD or ISO image of the other OS.Now you can open Virtualisatin software and load second OS as easy as opening a software.

It is also possible to load already installed OS in hard disk in these softwares.

This is the influence of google on internet.Larry page and Sergey Brin,the co-founders of google have planned to sell google to "AltaVista" for 10 lakh USD.But AltaVista was not ready to take such a big risk.Then they tried to sell their search engine to Yahoo and American Online.Both companies refused this proposal.This made them powerful.They decided to beat those companies which refused their proposal with their technology.But they didn't have such a big amount of money.They collected some amount from their friends and relatives.But they couldn't raise such a big amount.Atlast they met Andy Bechtolsheim,co-founder of sun microsystems.He was willing to give the capital for developing the technology.He handover a cheque worth 10 lakh USD to the company GOOGLE INCORPORATED.That company was not registered till that.It was to withdraw this money,they registered the company as Google Inc.

In 2000,they introduced google adwords.Gmail and Gmaps in 2004.Both received good appreciation from audience world wide.Gmail is the most popular email service now also.They introduced Youtube in 2006.Today 60 hours of video is uploaded to youtube every minute.Google's mobile OS android arrives on 2007 which can be considered as a revolutionary product in the world of mobile gadgets.It was in 2008,Google chrome entered the internet world and acquired good reach.In 2011 Google plus came into excistance.Even google+ didn't get much wider reach as facebook have,it is still used by a lot of people around the globe.

Now the cyber world is looking forward at the next revolutionary product from google.Users believe in their potential.
