Startup village is a technological incubator in Cochin and it is the first incubator in India that is jointly founded by public and private sector.The promoters of startup village are department of science and technology,government of India,Technopark trivandrum and MobMe wireless.Chris Gopalakrishnan,The co-founder of Infosys is the chief mentor of Startup village.


Startup village has got a fantastic infrastructure and basic facilities.I along with my friend visit Startup village once with a small idea.The fact is that the idea which we had in our mind was not so clear.But after visiting startup village we have the confidence that we can convert this idea into a profitable product.As we both are just students we didn't had much idea how to start.We talked with Miss.Dinno Nijo,client relation manager of startup village.They had much more interest in our case than us.That amazed me actually.

We visit the entire block.There were two different blocks.One for the initial startups and the other for matured startups.There is a meeting for people who want to join startup village on every saturdays 10:00 am.When we reached Startup village,we were guide to a conference hall inside an awesome building.The walls were painted with photos of Zuckerberg,Larry page,Steve Jobs and many successful entrepreneurs accross globe.The building itself gives us a courage and confidence.

When approaching startup village,what you need is just idea!nothing more.You don't have to worry about the capital and all.You just focus on your idea and project.Think how better can you serve people.Think how to make profit from your product.Startup village have a very good support from Indian government.And it is going to be India's largest IT park.It deserves it,I know.Startup village is located at Kinfra High tech park,kalamassery,Eranamkulam.Have a visit.It is an awesome place for startups.to know more about startup village visit their website.I am telling you once again.Their team is awesome.They have the potential to bring out the best in you.
